In this second movie filmed by Dezeen for trade show Garden Unique, British garden designer Andrew Wilson of Wilson McWilliam Studio talks about the relationship between architecture, landscaping and garden design. He points to the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion by Peter Zumthor and The High Line park in New York, both planted by Piet Oudolf, as examples of successful collaborations between the disciplines.
Wilson presents a few favourite projects by his studio in our earlier movie and we’ll be publishing the final installment in the series next week.
Garden Unique is a platform for premium garden furniture brands at garden showcase Spoga+Gafa, which takes place at Koelnmesse in Cologne from 4 to 6 September 2011.
