In this video made by Dezeen in Shenzhen in 2009, architect Benjamin Ball of Ball-Nogues Studio talks about Built to Wear, their installation at the Shenzhen & Hong Kong architecture biennale. The installation involved suspending 10,000 garments, made in Shenzhen for American Apparel, on washing lines to create a dragon-like form.
Watch an introduction to the biennale in our earlier movie.
